Who we are

A warm welcome can open the door to something lasting

Cincinnati Harmony Initiative creates comfortable, meaningful ways for neighbors of different faiths and cultures to meet, listen, and build trust.

Our mission

We promote intercultural understanding and mutual respect across Greater Cincinnati. Through conversation, hospitality, and service, we help neighbors find shared ground while honoring the beliefs and traditions each person brings.

We also help young people grow into confident, capable leaders. Our cultural, educational, service, and civic programs support practical life skills, strong relationships, and a clear sense of identity and belonging.

In practice, that means iftars in church fellowship halls, cooking classes in a synagogue kitchen, Noah’s pudding shared with neighbors, youth activities, and community service. Every gathering offers a simple invitation: come as you are, learn something new, and leave with a stronger connection to your community.

What we hold to

The values that guide us

Hospitality first
A warm welcome makes connection possible. We want every person to feel comfortable arriving, joining the conversation, and coming back.
Shared values in action
Conversation matters, and service helps it take root. We work side by side to care for our neighbors and strengthen our city.
Every identity honored
Connection does not require anyone to set aside who they are. We honor each faith, culture, and tradition without blending away what makes it distinct.
Growing together
Trust grows through relationships, and leadership grows through practice. We keep showing up for one another and for the next generation.
